The busy week

You serve customers…

Answer questions…

Arrange appointments, send orders, and remember whom to call back.

But some things pile up while you're doing the actual work… and some of it gets lost.

The repeated task

Sometimes, it's the innocent tasks that cost the most.

You fill out the same form multiple times a day… you prepare the same document over and over.

Sometimes those tasks feel endless.

But what if that part was handled by a helper that never gets tired of it, and does it the same way every time, just like you want it done?

Imagine…

Imagine

Imagine coming in to work and everything you need for the day is already organized, and your calendar is up to date.

Orders to send? Just sit down, review and send — because guess what? They're already prepared.

And your customers are confirming their orders, because the reminders went out on schedule.

So what is it?

There was a time when getting water meant:

  1. 1 Grab a bucket
  2. 2 Walk to the well
  3. 3 Lower the bucket
  4. 4 Pull the water up
  5. 5 Carry the heavy bucket home
  6. 6 Use the water
  7. 7 Repeat

Then someone asked: why am I doing all this?

Today the water comes to the tap.

Your information can work the same way. Right now it's:

search→copy→retype→format→use.

A system like this brings the information to you. All you do is use it.

But will I lose control?

Think of groceries. You decide what's on the list, and when dinner is. That part is yours.

Once you've decided, the rest is just errands. Plenty of people hand that part off.

Your helper works the same way. You make the list. It runs the errands.

You still decide prices, promises, and anything out of the ordinary.

Your first small step

You don't change everything at once.

  • Pick one small task that repeats.
  • Agree on what "working" looks like.
  • Try it with someone watching — and keep it only if it helps.

So… what's one task you'd gladly stop repeating?
